Hindi (India) Voice Actor

Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Hindi (India) Voice Actor and bring authentic, emotive Hindi narration to a groundbreaking AI training initiative for a major AI lab client. This part-time, remote opportunity lets you leverage your voice acting skills and technical expertise while contributing to the development of next-generation language models.

Note: It is highly preferred that you participate in the interview using your best audio equipment and full recording setup, as you will be asked to perform an emotional reading with your gear during the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record high-quality Hindi (India) audio content for AI training purposes following precise client specifications.
• Express a wide range of emotions through voice acting to capture nuanced speech patterns and intonations.
• Maintain consistency and clarity throughout all recordings, ensuring adherence to project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and linguistic teams to refine scripts and deliver the desired performance.
• Uphold strict privacy and data security protocols during all phases of the recording process.
• Dedicate at least 20 hours per week to project tasks, meeting all agreed-upon deadlines.
• Provide regular status updates and communicate proactively with team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Native or near-native fluency in Hindi (India), with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in voice acting, narration, dubbing, or audiobook production in Hindi.
• Access to high-quality professional audio equipment and a quiet, controlled recording environment (please provide details and examples).
• Ability to deliver expressive and emotionally engaging performances for diverse content types.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting and adapting to evolving requirements.
• Availability for equipment check and emotional reading demonstration during the interview process.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with industry-standard equipment such as EMU 404 USB Audio Interface, AKG P220 microphone, AKG K271 Mk2 headphones, or Rode NT1 microphone (ultra-low noise).
• Previous experience working on AI training or language data collection projects.
• Demonstrated versatility in adopting different vocal styles and emotional tones.
