QA Analyst
Core Responsibilities

Technical QA of recorded interviews: Reliably watch assigned interview recordings end‑to‑end.Flag & annotate issues such as premature termination, audio/video glitches etc.

Fraud Investigation: Review candidate profiles automatically flagged by our fraud‑detection system.Cross‑reference claims (education, accolades, employment) via online searches such as LinkedIn.

**Cheating Detection (most difficult)**: Identify subtle signs of external assistance (e.g., paraphrased AI‑generated answers, off‑camera prompts).Analyze eye movement, timing anomalies, and "AI‑likeness" of responses.Maintain and evolve a library of cheating patterns and decision criteria.
Must‑Have Qualifications

Exceptional English comprehension and concise written communication.

Familiarity with LinkedIn / Assessing professional credentials.

Strong critical thinking skills to differentiate genuine understanding from superficial or memorized responses.

Ability to recognize jargon-heavy answers and evaluate candidates’ authentic knowledge.

Contract and Payment Terms
- You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
- This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
- Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
- Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
- Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
